It can be a bit confusing when getting source files prepared for the web.
Print materials are to be submitted at 300 dpi, and we ask for the same size for the web files,
but if you have a larger than needed file, but at a 72 dpi resolution, it may be okay.
Ask us for details about best image quality.
The reason we ask for higher resolution files though, is so we can export out web-optimized visuals at the best quality possible, to make sure your website will look its best!
However, if you do not have source files, but do have some artwork on your business cards,
we can duplicate your artwork by recreating it in a digital file, for an extra fee.
Any problem you may have regarding graphics of any kind, we have a solution.
We have 4 basic steps...
STEP 1
Give us a call!
Tell us what you need in a website, be as descriptive as you want, our design team will take notes, and give you a free quote right there!
STEP 2
Once you decide CDI Design is going to design your website for you, we set up a meeting at a date and time that is best for you.
NOTE: At this time it would be good to get together any source files you may have, and we require 50% of the total cost of website design as down payment, to get started.
We will not be able to get started on your website until we have all the necessary files.
This helps expedite the design process.
STEP 3
Meeting: You can either meet with us at our office, or we can come to you! Then simply give us the down payment,
then we take notes, & make sketches until you like what you see...then we go to work building your new website!
STEP 4
Once your site is up and running, we will upload it to our server, for your viewing purposes.
NOTE: This is the time for you to PROOF READ your site, check for any spelling errors, image problems, etc.
It pays to proof read, as things can be missed, and it will be representing you or your business.
Once everything looks and works properly, then you make the final payment (the last 50% of design costs).
Then...ENJOY YOUR NEW WEBSITE!
